Farewell Party Invitation Letter
Introduction
There is no good in goodbye, but farewells are a time when we bid goodbye to everyone we know and move on with life. A Farewell Party Invitation letter is more than an invitation, it is usually all the information required in order to attend the party. It provides the basic invitation to a Farewell Party but may also contain further information to the recipient so that there is a better understanding of the planned event. It is a basic courtesy to give away the invitations for events like farewell, as without an invitation there is no proper information about the event.
Information like venue, date, time, dress code, etc, are provide in the letter. Giving a response to this letter is courteous as they can arrange the party better and manage the guest list accordingly. While writing these letters you should have a very formal tone as it’s meant to be sent to a lot of people. Writing a farewell letter requires a lot of attention as it could lead to miscommunication. The basic information should be mentioned correctly as to whoever it may concern.

Hi Duncan
Subject: Farewell Party
As you know, Jane Myers from Service Department is leaving the company at the end of the month. A few of us are planning a farewell party for her. Details as below:
Party Venue: My Place Restaurant
Address: 3591 Cliffside Drive
Date: DD/MM/YYYY
Time: 8pm
Besides being our lunch partner at work, Jane has been very helpful at work too, she has constantly extended her support to everyone at work, other than being a strong pillar for this company, she has also presented herself as an amazing human being. All colleagues like her at Full Circle, and we shall miss having such an eminent presence around us. But she is moving on to greener pastures, and for that, I am happy for her.
Now, it becomes our responsibility or rather basic courtesy that we bid her goodbye in a very distinguished manner, so we have decided to arrange a farewell for her so that she will remember this wherever she goes. The attire is color coded to be purple and red as those are her favorite colours.
Please r.s.v.p. your attendance to this farewell before January 28, and state if you would like to join some of us in a farewell gift for her.
Thanking you
Yours Sincerely
Rachel Rambo
