Complaint Letter to Landlord
Introduction
When a person leases out a property or apartment to another party, a legal contract is signed between the two parties to make sure that all the rules and regulations are followed. The contract outlines all the necessary details that might be required by the tenant or the landlord in case of any situation.
A Complaint Letter to Landlord is written by the tenant to the landlord to complain about an unsatisfactory situation with the rented premise The contract signed by both the sides might outline what is required of the landlord in cases when the premise is not proper due to some problem that has been present before the tenant leased out the area. A formal complaint letter to the landlord outlines all the necessary information about the problem that the tenant might be facing and direct the landlord towards his duties as agreed upon in the contract to ask them to fix the situation.

Subject: Complaint against Upstairs Noise
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a tenant at your Apartment 3700-C on Hill Haven Drive. I leased out the apartment from you a month ago, on DD/MM/YYYY. The contract that we both signed, dated DD/MM/YYYY, clearly stated that in case I have any complaint related to the condition of the apartment or the society around I can bring it into your notice.
In light of that contract, I am writing to complain about the persistent noise that I hear every night from 9 pm for the last two weeks. The noise goes on till the early morning hours which causes me a lack of sleep and be refreshed for work in the morning. The noise pollution created by such activities is very disturbing and totally unexpected as I moved into the area for its quiet ambience.
After a week of persistent noises which are like thumping, renovations, and people talking, I went upstairs to have a word with the occupants. They seem very apologetic at first, but after three encounters, they refused to open the door. The other tenants seem to be oblivious to the situation, or they just might be deaf.
I request that you look into my complaint immediately as the lack of rest is affecting my work performance. I would appreciate some prompt and corrective action on this complaint.
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
John Brower
