Introduction
A love letter is one of the purest forms of expression of our true feelings. It is the means through which we can let someone know our deepest, truest feelings about them. In our attempt to keep up with changing times and the upbeat generation, we must learn how to write love letters that can be printed as well.
Love letters are extremely informal letters and therefore no fixed format is followed to write them. In an unabashed and unbridled sense, write about what it is that first attracted you to them, about your fondest memories, the fights that lead to beautiful make ups, etc. You can also test your writing skills through love letters. Make use of as much flowery language as you can. To make it more personal, you could even write them a short poem or attach a picture of yourself at the end of your letter!

Dear Anaita,
On the occasion of our fifth anniversary, I thought I’d do something I’ve never done for you before. To mark the speciality of this occasion, I have decided to pen down my thoughts and feelings for you and about all the wonderful memories we have made over the years.
I still remember the date – it was the 19th of Sept 2012, and I asked you out right outside the college auditorium. Your first reaction was of course shock, you have always had a knack of making situations cutely awkward. But I understood your silence and knew it was a yes. That, I feel is the best quality about our relationship – the fact that we know each other so well. Finding a connection like the one we share is rare and so it should be cherished all the more.
The past few years have indeed been the happiest of my life. You have been there for me every step of the way. The good and bad, you were there for me through it all. You have helped me grow as a person and inspired me to do better in life. Very few people have had an impact on me the way you have. You have changed me for the better and for that, I am grateful.
Each year spent with you is more special than the last. Remember our first trip together? It was to Leh. Oh, what a beauty (I meant you and not the city, haha)! I feel the trip was made all the better, thanks to your presence. Staying up talking all night under the stars, going on treks and having snow fights – definitely the best moments in my life.
Thank you Anaita for all that you have done and continue to do. I love you beyond words!
With Love,
Homi Malik
