INTRODUCTION:
The 21st century is the age of money. Survival without money is impossible in today’s world. While liquid money can be a very risky to keep, it is mostly in the banks that money can be kept, that too safely. Bank transactions require one to use cheques and owing to that a cheque is an essential item to be kept with every human being. Cheque books enable a person to deposit or withdraw cash from our accounts or the sometimes from the accounts of others.
A Cheque book request letter is written by a bank customer who requires a new set of cheques from the bank. This kind of request is usually made by a busy customer who does not have time to collect the cheque book personally or it could be a bank procedure which requires his clients to write in to request a cheque book as and when required.

Subject: Cheque Book Request
Dear Sir / Madam,
I, Donald Anderson, am writing to request for a new set of cheques as I am quickly finishing my current set. I am down to my last ten pieces, and it is imperative for me to have at least another five pieces before the end of the month. Although it is a personal cheque book request, it would be appreciated if you could mail it to me at the soonest if possible as I am working overtime every day until the end of the month. I would like to request further that my new set of cheques be sent to my office, as per address above, for my collection. My current account number is AMC94839-384183.
Please feel free to contact me for any verification of this request. Kindly make it a fast process as all my day-to-day business transactions require a lot of cheques for which I cannot risk running out of cheques. I can face a lot of losses due to a delayed sending of my chequebook. Also, it is a humble request on my part that it would be easy for me if you can send the cheque book between 10 am to 4 pm so that I can collect it directly from the delivery person, or else it would be given to one of my staffs.
I appreciate your prompt response.
Yours sincerely,
Donald Anderson
