Farewell Letter to Boss
Introduction
Farewell letters are usually written when it’s time to bid someone goodbye, in an office. Whenever someone leaves from work, it’s quite a big step as they were integral part of that office. It becomes a basic courtesy to write a farewell letter to the boss when he decides to leave the job for better future endeavors or personal reasons.
A farewell letter to the boss can be a matter of very personal details as this is the person you’ve always worked under and now it’s time for you to leave everything behind and move on to something that’s good for you, in a case like that you should always mention the innumerable things you have learned from this person and you should thank them for being such an amazing mentor and for managing the company as they did. this letter can be written in an informal manner but the tone of the letter should have a tinge of respect.

Dear Mr. Kruger
Subject: Farewell letter
With a heavy heart and unconditional respect please allow me to bid you farewell; as life has it’s own ways, it’s time for you to move on and focus on the other things that await on the other side.
I take this opportunity to thank you profusely for all that you have been for me, ever since day one. You have always been very understanding and extremely patient with me, even though sometimes I failed to understand certain ways in which this company worked, you always helped me along the way and constantly looked out for me. In an era like this it’s very rare to find a mentor like you who will never do anything to even remotely take me away from track. My heart is filled with immense gratitude for you sir.
Thank you for being such an inspiration and for having me under your wing for the past 5 years, I hope I haven’t done anything to hurt or demean you, thank you once again.
I wish you the very best in health and career.
Thanking You
Yours Sincerely
Sarah Wayne
